Air tickets to Mumbai available at 2-3k at the moment. Or if you want to try budget travel…rail is the best option. I’ve taken train to Trichy to Bangkok flight at ₹ 1200 in August 2019. Booked in September 2018.

I think waiting till Xmas may be a better choice. I have already booked my return from New York to Delhi at 34k with Ukrainian airlines. Departure on 1.5.2021 and return on 12.5.2021. planning to cover new York 4 days and Washington for 4 days and remaining still planning..may be long Island. If you want you may join me 
On the return, need to check if I can get some good deal on miles redemption on Star Alliance. the 1st May deal is extremely tempting

Yes..have 1.5 lac intermiles accumulated from the erstwhile jetprivilege. One way shows approx 75000 miles however the 10k fare for bom – jfk doesn’t show anymore
