TV makers indicated LCD and LED TV prices will also go up by 2-3%. As a result, a 32-inch LCD TV price will go up by Rs 800 while that of a 32-inch LED TV by around Rs 1,200.

yup! last year all 32" lcd were costing ~35000 and lec ~50000 but now it has come down to 20000-22000 and ~35000. If new technology keeps coming in so fast than same lcd will be available for 5000 by next year. (technology like 3d, computer/internet or even replacing pc, wifi, packed home theater with blu ray and set top box etc)

full hd costs just about 10% more. if a model with hd ready comes at 20000 say in samsung 4 series then full hd will cost around 22000 in 5 series. always go for full hd by shedding a few rupees more.
