Super
Something like “super selector” contest on espn star sports.
Is there a list of players to select. I think there should be or can I just select 10 allrounders and a wicket keeper. There should be a classification on who all are batsmen and who all are bowlers.
My request is its better the admin create a League for DD in any fantasy website and ask DD users to join the league using the PIN shared by the admin …

Even if you select 10 allrounders & an allrounder-wicketkeeper like ABDe Villiers, there is no guarantee that your team will win.
@anthrax.ut, there should be points for catches taken by outfield players & run outs.
Moreover in case of run outs, 2-3 players may get involved (like relay throws). So equal points should be given to all those who were involved in a run out. We have also seen catches where the slip fielder has taken a catch after the wicket keeper touched it. I hope both will be given credits under these circumstances.
One more thing… Bloggers are already getting a huge advantage even before the contest started!

Guys there is a small update, if bowler in your team does not ball minimum 5 overs through out the tournament then his name will not be considered for final points calculation.
Those who already gave their teams can change it if they want. But only once.

Sirji, T20 mein bowler got limitation of 4 overs per match.
each team play 3 matches minimum..
4 × 3 = 12 Overs
how will he bowl 25 overs then ???
Only possibility of a bowler bowling 25 overs would be a qualifying team winning the Final nd the bowler bowling 4 overs in every match..
Slight correction, if a qualifying team reaches Semifinal, then also their bowler cud complete 25 overs
Winner [Semi Final] : Chennai Super Kings
Winner [Final] : Royal Challengers Bangalore

Before I submit my team, few questions to understand this contest better:
1) Is it necessary to give names of batsmen & bowlers separately OR 10 players’ names will do? I can understand the importance of wicketkeeper.
2) Can we predict the winner of all 32 matches (till semifinal) in one post?
3) I think the moderator(s) didn’t approve my suggestion of allotting points to players for catches & run outs.
4) Lets assume, I have chosen a player (A) who won’t bowl 5 overs till the end of 32 matches. After that I would have taken a replacement in his place, but the player A will bowl well in SF & Final & will complete his quota of 5 overs.
Can I get credit for the overs he will bowl (i.e. wickets he will take) in the group stages of the tournament?
One observation… Bangladesh & Zimbabwe will play (I think these 2 teams will qualify for the next round) 3 matches extra compared to other teams. So players from these 2 countries have some advantage.

1. Yes we need it separately. As score for batsmen & bowlers will be calculated separately.
2. Yes you can predict
3. Will consider that in upcoming contests
4. Yes credit will be given (but only till 32 matches)

Wonder-fool…
You need David Warner as both bowler & batsman!!!
2 more questions:
1) If the wicketkeeper chosen, bowls 5 overs or more, the wickets taken by him will be considered or not?
2) West Indies will play in match no. 17 & then only we will get to watch all the participant teams’ display. So isn’t match no. 15 a bit early to make replacement?
