I have tasted different kind of brands but Amul is my all time favourite ice cream brand which is reasonable and good taste.

I recently had Milky Mist one. It was pretty good and it's not made from oil (not frozen dessert like Kwality walls s**t).

Amul, Nandini, Dairy day, when went to gujarat tried amul as well as vadilal. It was good too. Once had kwality walls and when it smelled like kerosene, got to know it is frozen dessert after that never had that.
I make it at home.
