SBI IRCTC Platinum Credit Card... should apply it ? Since I book tickets for customers on IRCTC...

Even you apply you need to have a irctc account with same number and dob as per credit card.i didn't knew this and couldn't redeem my points.finally after 3 years I got to change details in my account and redeemed nearly 12000 rs
Not a single IRCTC card is good. Instead save 5% on IRCTC via PayZapp if no coupon codes available from RedRail/Redbus, ConfirmTkt etc
Recently i saw irctc gift card in online
How to use ?
SBI IRCTC Platnium credit is worth it IF AND ONLY IF -
1. You travel alone by 3AC or higher with total ticket expenses over Rs 5000 per year. That will help you at least offset the Rs 300 annual charges + GST. They will cancel your card but won't make it LTF.
2. You don't have an SBI card and need one for online 10% discounts on Amazon/Flipkart during discount season
If you travel with someone or book tickets for someone else then you don't get the 10% (off peak season) / 5% (peak season) cashback on their fare. You get the standard 1 IRCTC points / Rs 125 (0.8% returns).
If you must get an IRCTC cobranded card the HDFC IRCTC card is much better on paper especially with its feature of rewarding everyone's fares and not just the cardholder's. That card though isn't ideal for 8 am (when 4 month advance bookings open), 10 am (AC tatkal), 11 am (non AC tatkal) since you must use HDFC SmartBuy for maximum rewards and IRCTC bars any partners for 15 mins at those 3 times.
Any HDFC DC with SmartBuy will get you 5% cashback. As @some1anywhere said PayZApp is also an option for the same reward rate. Infinia/DCB get you 3X points which is 10% rewards if you consider 1 RP = 1 Rs. Regalia and the TataNeu cards too give bonus rewards. Any cobranded HDFC CC or Millenia will give you 5%.
