need suggestion to buy 1.5 ton Split AC
I am looking for a 1.5 ton split AC under 40K and confused between LG and Daikin. Please suggest which is good and if you can recommend any model.

3 star would work for me
Go for LG. If you have room on top floor then do check if rated cooling capacity is line with room size.
Don't compare tonnage. compare standard cooling capacity(not max) with room size. 3500w cooling capacity is equal to 1 ton.
1.5ton should 5200w but most modern inverter ac comes with less than 5000w cooling capacity.
LG -> 4400W cooling capacity for 1.5ton 3star AC
LG giving 4400 cooling capacity in 3* ..
just checked we don't have an authorized Daikin dealer in my town .. not sure if they will provide service in remote area
Carrier Extreme Edge. Good cooling 5150W.

LG tries to make less fancy models unavailable models VERY fast.
Thus finding a core functionality model with reasonable efficiency at bargain price is difficult in LG. Difficult but not impossible.
With Daikin, someone somewhere (offline) may even have a basic, non-inverter model launched over 18-20 months back and then have good discounts too.
LG, Samsung have actually invested heavily in after sales support in India Bangladesh and I think in Pakistan too.
Dawkins literally just acts like a trader.
Sell, forget FULL STOP.
Often the installation too is left to the dealer who sells. The dealers in turn, hire 18-20 year olds and tell Daikin that they are sending the actual technician (whom they declared on the payroll).
Productwise: The southeast Asia made Daikins work just as good as LG. But sometimes 43°C-44°C makes them fail.
The power consumption and efficiency in the very lat3st LG models might be 7-8% better, but pricing of those models is 18-20% more than the non inverter models of others from 2022 or so.
