Hello Dimers,

As per the topic, I'd like to ask your opinion on stock android player (in my case Samsung Audio player on Samsung F62) vs third party audio players for android.

Does changing audio players make a difference in the sound quality?

Which of the following is better in your opinion? Stock Audio Player or PowerAMP or Neutron or Jet Audio (I've bought full versions of all three of these!) or any other you recommend? I almost always keep the equalizer off or on flat setting.

I will be using wired headphones and will be purchasing a Sennheiser HD350BT or AudioTechnica M20XBT in near future (would like to try these first if possible)

Thank you

My music files are 320kbps .MP3; not possible for me to obtain flac or other lossless versions of the music

Changing to a third-party audio player like PowerAMP or Jet Audio can enhance sound quality and offer more customization options than the stock Android player. Try them with your headphones to find the one that suits your preferences best.

Poweramp makes tremendous difference with EQ on or tuned. Even Neutron is same.

EQ off for 320kpbs files shouldn't make any difference between players

Neutron or USB Audio Player Pro are the best. Especially if you are using any USB DAC. Poweramp audio output is decidedly inferior to the above two.

I had this FiiO DAC eons ago and though I liked the quality I ultimately stopped using it owing to it being cumbersome to carry and phone audio quality getting better with time.
