In the petition dated March 05, 2024, AstraZeneca had told the European Commission;
"Since multiple updated vaccines have been developed for Covid-19 variants, there is now a surplus of doses available.
This has led to a decrease in demand for Vaxzevria, which is no longer being manufactured or supplied."

The firm's application to withdraw Vaxzevria was made on March 05, 2024,
got approved soon after and came into effect on May 07, 2024.
Through multiple deals in 2022-2023 and early 2024, London-listed AstraZeneca increased its focus to move into respiratory syncytial virus vaccines and obesity drugs, after growth slowed as COVID-19 medicine sales declined.

By the way, they themselves said now that since it was only designed keeping the original (Wuhan) variant in mind, other vaccines versions were more effective.
So by the end of 2021 and definitely by mid-2022, most national governments had gone for Pfizer, Moderna even Japanese ones.
U.S. never gave approval to them, as the got bribes (lobbying) from local companies.

I am noticing multiple cases of blood clotting in old acquaintances most of them had covid vaccine. most of them felt unconsciousness in high heat and later tests revealed this.

I slightly remembered 1 comment by one of the dimer, and i laughed after reading that, it was something like "those who are not taking vaccine should be punished, arrested by police on charge of killing people by spreading covid virus... blah blah blah...."
Even court had given decision that you can't force anyone to take vaccine but people used to discriminate people who had not taken vaccine/booster, vaccine certificate was made compulsory for travelling, visiting stores etc. I think it was worst thing human did. As per some experts it takes about 10-15 years to develop vaccine and to study its side effects on human body but this vaccine was developed within 1 year and started trial on human.

I don't want to comment on that whether mass vaccination stop spread of covid or not. I am not expert of that nor having any medical knowledge. My point is about thinking of people, i mean how someone can force others to take vaccine without his/her wish. This is what i wanted to point out from my above comment. Also i came across some of the people who have not taken single dose and till they are living healthy life.
The Vaccine did not work with guartantee, after the vaccine was released we were told that it'll increase the immunity, people even with double vaccinations passed away.
The next excuse was people with co morbidities, old age are still at risk in spite of the vaccinations. Almost everyone contracted covid, and just like any other pandemic, the fittest survived, whether vaccinated or not.
Besides this, the price of the vaccine as annouced by the director of serum institute was supposed to be around 150, and covaxin was supposed to cost around ₹20. People paid ₹1500 for 2 doses of covishield and around 1200 for single dose of covaxin. Pharma companies and government made trillions and billions.
