Helping my mom in the kitchen. Washing the utensils, cleaning the toilet and keeping the house clean. Even though my relatives say boys shouldn't touch the broom and used to laugh at my back I still do it. At first my mom was also embarrassed in front of my relatives but one day she stood for me and said while compared with the other kids my kid is far better 🥹 After all I haven't done anything bad yet it remains a taboo. No matter what they say I'm proud of myself!

If you are talking about the dignity of labour ,it is nothing to be  extra proud of, and nothing to be ashamed of.

But what I am proud of you, is in the way you considers your mother as so special.
and she considers you as extra-ordinary.

If you can make your parents happy, you can be so proud that you have already  conquered half the world  .

For me its the 'sense of achievement', fulfilling my childhood dreams, dreams for self & family and not leaving out anyone in the family while fulfilling those dreams. No shortcuts, no stepping on some else's feet, no hidden agenda.

@NobiNobita - I love your comment. I still help my mom in the kitchen, I help my wife too.

While I was just a kid, my dad used to call me 'Mungerilal', the dreamer and he used to say that once you grow up and start earning, you will forget all these dreams and will be busy with your life.

I lost my dad exactly 3 months back and the last few conversations we had were around he telling everyone how I fulfilled every dream, right from renovating and extending the house exactly the way I created floor plans on graph paper while I was in school, till I bought my dream luxury car.

If anyone says that he/she is hungry i always feed him/her. I never give them money but instead I buy food for them. If they say that it's for their family members then I buy them rice and other groceries. I always feel happy doing this

If I had to pick just one, that would be the unique ability to tell if a tech product (hardware or software) is total shit, mediocre/acceptable or really good. It came from using computers since 1990 and phones since 2000s, then smartphones since 2005. Of course, many would disagree with my recommendations and opinions but still...

Other quality is self-control in eating food / diet to keep my weight in check no matter how much others around me are eating themselves into a stupor with delicious junk food smile
