Important Point is basis on Reward Rate:)

1) Learn to calculate reward rate from Reward points and cashback

2) Convert Reward Points or Cashback to Reward Rate (i.e % percentage per 100 rupees, eg: 1% for Rs.100 or 2.5% for Rs.100)

3) "No joining fee or no renewal fee" are good to consider buttt if you have good reward rate, you can still pay that joining fee/renewal fee and get it LTF converted later by showing spends to customer care so not big deal

4) UPI Enabled no use, all will give virtual addon cards dont even bother getting it , UPI reward rate is very less

SBi cashback card has high joining and renewal fees!

1.Is it still worth with so many exclusion categories?

2.May be later bank reduces %cashback similar to Axis Ace or cap the limit?

3.Is it still good with all the negativity around this card where people complained that SBI deducting reward points without notice?

Reward rate is the only factor I consider as of now, and by reward rate I mean miles transfer ratio.

I often go on vacations and these reward points help avail great stays for me.

My go to cards right now are DCB metal, Axis Atlas and amex platinum.
